We are expanding our Global Technology Operations (GTO) team to support our clients from all over the world to assure their safety, availability, and smooth operations.

Within GTO, several multidisciplinary teams provide infrastructure services to clients in the Dutch market and support other CGI units in the delivery of our broader CGI portfolio. From various locations, the specialized, critical, motivated, and enthusiastic teams manage crucial private and public cloud infrastructures for our customers.

As Oracle DB Administrator in our team, you will be working on the organization and automation of operations. Mostly, you will be responsible for:

  • performance monitoring, security, backups, troubleshooting and data recovery of Oracle database environments,
  • providing capacity planning, evaluate the database server hardware,
  • managing all aspects of databases, including installation, configuration, design and data migration,
  • challenging projects where your Oracle knowledge will come in handy.

What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrable knowledge in the following knowledge areas: Oracle RDBMS, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Dataguard,
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows Server, Oracle Linux, and Oracle Enterprise Manager,
  • Preferably knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL database management,
  • Experience with automating work via shell scripting or via tooling such as Ansible,
  • Excellent command of the English language,
  • Strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication and social skills
